This is a lovely Reproduction Bronze classical style statue of a young boy 'Crab boy ' it stands about 32 inches tall so it is a good size .It depicts the boy being chased by a little crab that has bitten his big toe ! he is lifting his foot to shake the crab free .Ths staue is made of cast bronze metal and it is made in the traditional way of the ancient 'lost wax' method of hot casting bronze it is hollow inside and has a lovely verdigris patina ( antique aged green style ) , as if it has been weathered outside for many years . It is a lovely addition for the home or graden as it can be left outside as it will only improve with age and time and blend in with your garden or pond/water feature outside .
