Item Description
A beautiful piece. Manufactured c. 1880. 14K Gold. Complete rope design around the edge with a swirl design on the back cover.  Recently overhauled and new spring inserted. Runs beautifully with a quiet tick. Two panels on the inside cover possibly for engraving a name?  There are small golden 5 spot designs between the roman numerals.  Mechanism designed by Nicolas Grolliere de Servier, "Torsion Pendulum".  Size 38x30x12mm. Weight 21grms.
